Jason McClitis

Jason R. McClitis joined the firm in March 2012.  Mr. McClitis represents national and local unions as well as employee benefit funds.  His practice includes litigation before federal and state courts and representation of unions and funds before arbitration boards and federal government agencies, including the Department of Labor.  He also advises trustees and fund staff on compliance and administration matters.

Prior to joining Blake & Uhlig, Mr. McClitis focused his practice on employment law, employment discrimination, and civil rights.

Mr. McClitis graduated with distinction from Penn State University in 2006. He received his law degree in 2009 from The University of Missouri School of Law, where, as a contributing member of The Missouri Law Review, he authored a published law summary regarding Missouri's Second Injury Fund. (Vol. 74-2, Spring 2009, 399).

In addition to his practice, Mr. McClitis serves as a Vice Chair for the Missouri Bar Labor & Employment Committee and is a past speaker on developments in labor law. Mr. McClitis is also a past member of the Missouri Bar Leadership Academy and a past recipient of the James E. Westbrook Labor Law Award, CALI Excellence Awards in Arbitration and Arbitration & Labor Problems, and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award.
