Heddy Pierce-Armstrong joined Blake & Uhlig, P.A. as an associate in 2022.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pierce-Armstrong advocated strongly for workers’ rights as an intern. In 2021 Ms. Pierce-Armstrong earned a competitive Peggy Browning labor law Fellowship working for a union-side law firm in Boston. Ms. Pierce-Armstrong gained additional valuable experience while participating in mediation clinic, interning with a legal aid society, and disability rights organization, gaining practice advocating for employment rights of people with disabilities.
Ms. Pierce-Armstrong graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2022, earning an Advocacy Skills Certificate and receiving an Award of Distinction for leadership and diversity. While in school, Ms. Pierce-Armstrong was an active student diversity leader, serving as the President of Outlaws & Allies and sitting on the Dean’s Diversity Leadership Council. She gained strong advocacy experience on Mock Trial Council and competing in two National Moot Court competitions.
Ms. Pierce-Armstrong received her Bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender studies from the University of Kansas in 2019.
