Nathan Hill

Nathan Hill joined Blake & Uhlig in 2009 and has been a Shareholder since 2015. Mr. Hill has focused his practice on the representation of multiemployer defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans, health & welfare plans, and apprenticeship funds. Mr. Hill regularly attends trustee meetings and advises trustees and service providers on all aspects of employee benefits law, including ERISA and Internal Revenue Code compliance, fiduciary responsibility, healthcare reform and HIPAA. Mr. Hill also drafts governing documents for multiemployer benefit funds, including plan Documents, trust documents, and summary plan descriptions.

Mr. Hill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Iowa State University in 2004 and a MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2009. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2009 and his Master of Laws in Taxation in 2010 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He graduated law school cum laude, was a member of the Law Review, and received a CALI Distinguished Achievement Award for employee benefit law. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Hill worked for Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha. Mr. Hill is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.
